ABOUT ME

Brian (Chun Wing) Lee is a filmmaker currently based in Canberra, Australia.
He is currently attending a Diploma of Screen and Media course at the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) in Woden to upskill in the hands-on experience of film and media content production.

He also attended the University of Canberra (UC) and completed a Bachelor of Film Production in 2023, along with a Bachelor of Arts & Design (Honours) in 2024.

During his studies at UC, Brian gained valuable experience in various aspects of film production, developed research skills, and conducted a research project. It provided a mixture of creativity and technical skills, encouraging collaboration and allowing Brian and his peers to bring stories to life through visual and audio storytelling. After volunteering his filmmaking skills as a crew member on several unpaid short film projects, Brian directed his first short film, 'Pen to Paper', in 2025.

Brian's career goal is to work in the screen and media industry, while creating his passion film projects with his creative peers and assisting on other independent film projects on the side.

In his downtime, playing video games is one of Brian's favourite hobbies - including past and current games such as (but not limited to) Batman: Arkham Knight, Elden Ring, Hades, Jedi: Survivor, and Tears of the Kingdom. It helps him uncover other ways of storytelling and worldbuilding in different media. Occasionally, Brian creates content on YouTube, allowing him to express his ideas creatively - a chance to share ideas and thoughts, and the potential to connect with an audience and build a community.
