I am a tenure track assistant professor at Lehman College, CUNY as of the Fall of 2022 and a doctoral faculty member at the CUNY Graduate Center as of Fall 2025. I was a tenure track assistant professor at the University of Hartford from the Fall of 2019 to the Spring of 2022. Previously, I was an assistant professor at the United States Military Academy (West Point) on a three year position from Fall 2016 to Spring 2019. I graduated from the University of Tennessee under the direction of Alex Freire in the area of geometric analysis. In my first year at USMA, I met Christina Sormani who was an unofficial postdoc mentor throughout my time at USMA (See Christina Sormani's website for a list of postdocs). I am currently a co-organizer of the CUNY Geometric Analysis seminar which meets on Thursdays at 4:15pm.Â
In my personal life I enjoy cooking, philosophy, reading, cycling, hiking, playing sports, and exploring new foods. I host a philosophy discussion Meetup group on Saturday mornings in Pier 57 which can be found here. Check out the podcast episode I did with Zach Stehura on his podcast Unpacking Ideas discussing G. H. Hardy's A Mathematician's Apology. Check out my discussions of books I have read at the Hungry Math Professor.
