Tutoring Session Verification
Verification For Record Keeping:
Students who are certified SILA tutors within and for the purposes of our Wolfpack Academic Mentorship Program will go through simple directions so that we may verify their work during any tutoring sessions. SILA tutors who do not complete this step will not be considered to have tutored and will not be able to claim any potential service hour distributions. Tutors will also not be eligible for any rewards at the end of the school year if they do not verify their sessions.
For any teacher led tutoring sessions, you will be required to receive an email from that teacher confirming the student has tutored for them and upload an screenshot of it into the respective log forms. If the session was an workshop, please refer to the confirmation email received by SILA leadership afterwards in place.
Process Overview:
Welcome to the Session Verification Process of the STEM Impact & Leadership Alliance (SILA)! We are excited by your work in mentorship and peer tutoring! The Session Verification process will be an easy yet accessible process. You can choose from the two ways below depending on what type of session you have completed.
Pack Time Tutoring Sessions
Any Afterschool or Tutoring Workshop Sessions.
Wait for a confirmation email after each log to ensure that we have recorded and processed your sessions.
This program is currently not processing sessions. Please refrain from logging at this time.
Pack Time Tutoring Sessions
Student Tutors who are enrolled within Pack Time Tutoring Sessions may complete a log at the end of every Pack Time Rotation (2 weeks). Student Tutors will provide their basic information and their specific SILA ID as confirmation of identity.
Afterschool/Workshop Sessions
Student Tutors who are enrolled for any afterschool tutoring sessions or workshop sessions will provide their basic information and SILA ID for confirmation of identity.
It is encouraged that interested students expand the forms onto a separate tab when completing the form for accessibility and vision.
