BREW-ESA 2022

We are pleased to announce that BREW is back in person this year, and is collaborating with ESA to organize the first ESA event in South Asia. For a small number of accepted papers, particularly those from South Asia, who cannot attend in person due to unavoidable reasons (visa unavailability, travel ban, and COVID restrictions), we may be able to accommodate virtual presentations. Because we plan to organize BREW in-person, we do not wish to have more than 1 (out of 4) paper per session in the virtual mode.Â
The focus of the workshop will be on behavioral/ experimental research in economics and its applications, for example, to development, environment and health. BREW-ESA has confirmed three excellent keynote speakers:
Songfa Zhong (National University of Singapore)
Charles Noussair (University of Arizona)
Paper submission is free. Selected presenters will need to be ESA members and a nominal, reduced ESA membership fee will apply for those from South Asia. We may be able to offer financial support up to INR 10,000 for some of the student presenters for travel and logistics. If you would like to present a paper, you can submit an extended abstract or paper using the link below. All selected presenters must get an ESA membership and register for the conference at the ESA website by October 15, 2022.
