Brevard County Board of County Commissioners Office of Purchasing Services involves the procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services at the lowest possible cost, consistent with the quality needed to meet the required standards established and approved by the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners. 

To serve, support, and collaborate with our stakeholders and each other; delivering strategic, timely, and sustainable procurement and distribution solutions that result in added value and ethical stewardship of district resources.

The mission of the Purchasing and Contracts Division is to support the purpose and goals of the City of Cocoa — its public service missions — by purchasing and providing quality goods and services at competitive prices and providing responsive and responsible service to all municipal departments. .

The mission of the Procurement Division is to provide for fair and equitable treatment of all persons involved in public purchasing by the City; to maximize the purchasing value of public funds in procurement; and to provide safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of quality and integrity. 

The Procurement Department provides procurement services to end-user departments, while ensuring that the City maximizes its return on its purchases and follows procurement rules and regulations established in accordance with local, state and federal requirements.

To procure quality goods and services at the best overall value to the City in accordance with the City’s requirements, and conduct all transactions with suppliers with honesty, integrity and respect.
