Service is what sets us apart.
Here, you will find an overview of the various volunteer organizations I've worked with and the contributions I've made to the community through my volunteer work.
As the steering committee chairman for the Sons of Wabash, I was responsible for leading the organization's efforts to promote philanthropy and engagement among Wabash fraternity students.
Through a combination of targeted outreach, effective communication, and a commitment to our mission, we were able to achieve the goal of securing 100% participation from all Wabash fraternity students. This was a significant accomplishment, and one that speaks to the dedication and hard work of the entire Sons of Wabash team, and 60% of the Wabash Student Body
As a food packaging volunteer with the Bank of Life Food Bank, I had the opportunity to contribute to an important cause by helping to prepare and package food for distribution to those in need. I was part of the Project Phi Gam effort, which involved a group of volunteers from the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity who came together to support the food bank's mission. My brothers and I also do this at Gleaner's Food Pantry in Indianapolis, IN.
As a volunteer with the Grace and Mercy Food Pantry, I have had the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the community by supporting efforts to alleviate food insecurity in our college town. One of my most notable contributions was organizing a philanthropy kickball tournament to raise funds for the food pantry, which you can watch in the video link below.
In addition to this event, I have become a philanthropy consultant with the organization, working to facilitate service opportunities and create jobs with the food pantry for students on campus through the CIBE. Through my work, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with other volunteers and community members to develop new strategies and initiatives to support the food pantry's mission.
Volunteering with Grace and Mercy Food Pantry has been a transformative experience for me, both in terms of developing my leadership skills and in gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges facing our community. I am proud to be a part of such an important organization, and look forward to continuing to support its efforts in the future.
