Steve has performed in concert, coffeehouses and various festivals from the Yukon to Newfoundland and throughout the continental United States and Alaska.
He has performed for princes and premiers, daycares and nightclubs. His prodigious repertoire and intelligent, yet affecting, original songs seem to strike a universal chord.
He has appeared on various national TV and radio broadcasts and his recordings receive weekly air play on all three local radio stations as well as other national, international and regional shows including regular rotation on Alaska Public Radio.
His original compositions have been covered and recorded by various northern artists and numerous closet musicians. His songs are performed regularly by other performers at northern festivals, coffeehouses, bars and watering holes.
After a self imposed hiatus from performance to concentrate on his parenting skills, Steve has returned to the concert stage. A long-time Yukoner, Steve has spent many winter months touring Canada and Alaska promoting his various CD's and generally enjoying the live performances.
A seeker of the out of the way rural venues, Steve enjoys seeing Canada first hand from the driver's seat of his 1985 Volvo Sedan. He regularly racks up over 40,000 km a year driving to and from both gigs in the Yukon and "outside".
Along with his performance and songwriting skills, Steve also teaches music on a regular basis, and produces both the Arts in the Park Program in Whitehorse and the Jammin4Jay Festival in Langley, BC.
