The 22th Annual BAW 5k Run/3k Walk will place on Saturday, May 9th, 2026!

Race registration/check-in will take place on Ittelson Quad within Brown University's Athletic Complex (225 Hope Street, Providence, RI 02912). Runners/walkers can collect their T-shirts and bibs at our registration tables during the check-in period. Day-of registration will also be permitted (see Registration page for more information). 

There will be food, snacks, and water bottles available on the Quad before, during, and after the race. Additionally, there will be a raffle to purchase items from our various sponsors—be sure to check it out!

Pet Policy: Pets will be allowed on Ittelson Quad throughout race day. However, for the safety of all runners/walkers, no pets of any kind are allowed to accompany racers on the course itself. 

Course Map

Runners (5k) will begin on Hope St in front of Ittleson Quad and turn right on Lloyd Ave to proceed to Blackstone Blvd. They will turn left on Magellan St, right on Slater St,  left on Gorton St, left on Cole Ave, right on President Ave, left on Arlington Ave, and finally right on Lloyd Ave to return to the start.

Walkers (3k) will follow the same route, but will turn left on Lorraine Ave, left on President Ave, left on Arlington Ave, and right on Lloyd Ave to return to the start. 

Ittleson Quad will be the site of the registration/check-in table, first aid station, and opening and closing ceremonies. Trash and recycling bins will also be on the Quad. A water stop for runners will be located on the corner of Slater Ave and Goldsmith St.
