Breathless View cottage was built around 1920, but was completely renovated by the grandchildren of a Presbyterian minister in 1992. Climb the steps to a most magnificent mountain view (thus the name) where one can hear the birds, the rustling wind, the crackling of the tin roof and the faint sounds of the creek below.
Located just 15 miles east of Asheville, NC, Montreat is the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer.

Rental Rates (updated July 20, 2020)
Weekly rentals: $1600 plus 13% State and Buncombe County Tax . Includes cleaning fee.
Weeks run as follows:
Saturday 4 PM to Saturday 10 AM during summer season (last week of May through the second week of August)
Sunday 4 PM to Sunday 10 AM from second week of August to last week of May.
Weekend Rentals: $625 plus tax (2 day minimum)(cleaning fee included)
Friday 4 PM to Sunday 10 AM except during summer season
Additional Days - $250.00 Per Diem plus tax.
