In the summer of 2025, Singer partnered with Bernados to advertise an upcycling competition, dedicated to taking old clothes and using sewing skills to upcycle them and make them wearable again, I was selected as a finalist. The end result of my participation can be viewed here.

Helping at that event showed me a lot of the inner workings of a fashion show, stepping behind the curtain and dealing with the fast-paced job of dressing the models in different outfits for the catwalk showed me I can work well in a team and how to keep your head up in times of immense pressure and time constraints.

A collaboration between DMU and Epsom tasked me to create a design and concept to print onto a t-shirt. This not only introduced me to the world of fabric printing but also resulted in me being selected as one of the finalists. The end result of my work can be viewed here.

Screamfest is a yearly event that takes place at the National Forest Adventure Farm, throughout October. I was asked to work as a costume assistant. This role required me to repair any damages or adjust fitting for actors. This role was fast-paced and showed my ability to evenly disperse my time management.

On two separate occasions I had the chance to upcycle basic elf costumes for the Conkers Winter Wonderland event, it taught me a lot about the art of hand sewing and embellishing, adding my own magical and personal touch to the costumes to make them unique. The result of my work can be viewed here.
