Türkiye – Kuşadası Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Derneği (KSKD)

Kuşadası Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Derneği (KSKD) is a proactive NGO established in 2023 by educators to empower young people by integrating the Sustainable Development Goals into youth work, with a strong focus on Quality Education (SDG 4) and Gender Equality (SDG 5). With 16 volunteers, 2 paid staff and a wider youth team, KSKD promotes inclusivity, lifelong learning and global citizenship, aiming to reduce inequalities and support marginalized communities through education and youth leadership. KSKD is known for interactive, experiential non-formal learning approaches, including project-based learning and creative formats such as escape rooms, treasure hunts, gamified learning and outdoor learning adventures. Within BRAVE, KSKD leads the capacity-building on digital and Web 2.0 tools and supports educator training on anti-bullying strategies.

Poland (Coordinator) – Cardinal Karol Wojtyła Primary School in Chynowa

The Cardinal Karol Wojtyła Primary School in Chynowa is a public school run by the Przygodzice Commune and supervised by the Education Board in Poznań. It serves children aged 7–14 and also hosts a kindergarten for ages 3–6, with around 110 primary students and 75 kindergarten children. The school has strong learning and sports facilities (sports hall, grass pitch, multi-purpose field) and an active school community, including the Student Government, Polish Red Cross and a Sports Club. The school has Erasmus+ experience and is supported by its “Active for the Future” association, bringing together teachers, parents and graduates. In BRAVE, the school contributes practical anti-bullying work (surveys, awareness talks, parent involvement, cyberbullying prevention and community cooperation).

Hungary – Dudás Miklós Greek Catholic Bilingual Primary & Primary Art School (Máriapócs)

Located in Máriapócs, an important Catholic pilgrimage site, the Dudás Miklós Greek Catholic Bilingual Primary School and Primary Art School offers a distinctive model that combines primary education, bilingual learning and arts education. With a long educational tradition reaching back to 1696, the school provides English from the first year through an immersive approach supported by a native English-speaking teacher, and it has developed a strong arts profile (music, visual arts, folk dance and drama). The school also runs theme weeks and school-wide initiatives that strengthen students’ digital competences, financial awareness, sustainability and healthy living, alongside community engagement activities. In BRAVE, the school brings experience in innovative pedagogy, inclusive activities and digital citizenship work for learners aged around 11–14.

Greece – Action for the Civil Society (AFCS)

Action for the Civil Society (AFCS) is a non-profit platform based in Keratsini (Attiki, Greece) that empowers youth, professionals and organisations to address societal challenges through youth-driven initiatives and community-based solutions. AFCS works with a small team (paid staff and volunteers) and promotes equality, non-discrimination, inclusivity, volunteerism and access to education and lifelong learning—especially for disadvantaged young people, including refugees and migrants. In the field of BRAVE, AFCS brings strong expertise in youth education, anti-bullying and social inclusion: it develops educational materials, runs workshops and discussions on respect and empathy, and trains youth workers and educators to create safer, more inclusive environments.
