The Brandon pickleball club is a very active club. They play anywhere anytime. This year's 2021 we have played every month of the year (in Manitoba).
This year our goal was to fundraise for windscreen, wind sock and practice board. Windscreens and windsocks were installed in August 2021. The practice board will be installed next spring. On behalf of the club we would like to thank our sponsors for their support.
The first tournament was a great success for the club and facility. We had 68 participants and a lot of spectators. The weather co-operated and couldn't have asked for a better fall tournament.
In partnership with the City of Brandon we have hosted Fresh Air Fitness pickleball clinics for beginners and hope to strengthen our presence in Brandon with continued partnership with the city.
Our goal is to teach and motivate new and existing players to the best of their abilities with clinics and tournaments.
We have a great executive that is motivated to help and organize events to promote Pickleball in Brandon.
