I collaborated with The Laura Lynn Hospice and students from Engineering, Multi-Media, and Advertising to create Halloween costumes for children in wheelchairs. Together, we took measurements, met the families and crafted the costumes for the children to have a Halloween parade.
I fulfilled several roles such as camera operator, sound recorder as well as a photographer and photo editor.
Our interdisciplinary work won us the 'Most Creative Charitable Campaign' at the TU Dublin Student Awards 2024 and a nomination for 'Charity Champion of the Year' at the Student Achievements Awards 2024 organised by the USI, among the top 3 nominations across Ireland.
Alongside this, I worked with Multi-Media students to document the process through photography and a documentary, capturing the journey from the first time we met the family to the day of the parade.
Here is the documentary we created.
