The Dual Credit program offers students the opportunity to earn college credit while in high school based on their semester grades. Once qualified for Dual Credit, the student is considered a college student. There are steps to qualify and deadlines to follow. The information below will assist parents and students in navigating through the Dual Credit qualification process, but please feel free to contact our Student Success Advisor if you need help or have questions.

DUAL CREDIT DEADLINES
Opened September 1, 2023: ApplyTexas Application DUE February 16, 2024
ACES Account Access & Modules DUE February 29th, 2024
Dual Credit Student Orientation Including Parent Consent DUE March 22nd, 2024
Register for TSI Test DUE March 8th, 2024 *Brandeis Test Dates are CLOSED. Register for TSI testing with Northwest Vista College.
Please note: Missing any deadline will result in you not being eligible for Dual Credit for the 2023-24 school year. These deadlines are firm and build upon the previous steps. Not everyone is ready for college at this age, and that is okay. If you cannot meet all deadlines, this program is not for you. Students are expected to check their email frequently and communicate appropriately and in a timely manner.
