Advanced Placement

Advanced Placement is a program by which you can take college level courses in high school and earn both high school and college credits. By taking an AP course and scoring successfully on the related AP Exam (either a 3, 4 or 5), you can save on college expenses: most colleges and universities nationwide offer college credit, advanced placement, or both, for qualifying AP Exam scores. These credits can allow students to save college tuition, study abroad, or secure a second major. AP Exam Registration

Students will pay using My School Bucks.  NO cash or check. 

Congratulations! You and your student have made a valuable decision in preparing for higher education by choosing to take one or more AP courses this school year.

AP Exam registration is quickly approaching—registration will open October 6th and will close on October 24th. Your student will receive an AP Exam Registration Form from their AP teacher (example form linked here) on October 6th. The form includes all the important details regarding exam registration, including the date, time, and cost of each exam.  Once payment has been made, your student must return the completed registration form to the AP teacher listed on the form.

⚠️ Important: Students must be enrolled in AP Classroom for each AP course in order for an exam to be ordered. Even if payment has been made, an exam cannot be ordered unless enrollment and exam selection in AP Classroom are complete.

Tip: It is highly recommended that students or guardians take a picture of the completed registration form prior to returning it to their teacher for your records..
