This year, our dress rehearsal will be held on Friday, June 12th, 2026, and the recital will be held on Saturday, June 13th, 2026.
Dress Rehearsal Procedures - Friday, June 12th, 2025
To participate in the show, dancers must attend dress rehearsal. If you do not attend dress rehearsal on Friday, June 12th, 2026, you cannot perform in the recital. Dress rehearsal will be held in the Oley Valley Middle School Auditorium.
Please arrive on time on the day of the dress rehearsal. ALL Dancers need to check in, have hair/makeup ready, get lined up, etc. We plan to begin promptly with our finale dance, which includes all students participating in the recital.
If your child has any Medical Conditions that may require attention whilst in our care, or is carrying any medication, please notify our supervisors when you sign in. All medication (EPI Pens, Inhalers, etc.) should be clearly labeled and given to our supervisors.
Dress Rehearsal - FRIDAY, JUNE 12TH, 2025
Check-in Times for DRESS REHEARSAL DAY:
10:00 AM Show A → Check in at 9:30 AM
2:00 PM Show B → Check in at 1:00 PM
6:00 PM Show C → Check in at 5:00 PM
As always, the safety of our dance family is our #1 priority. When students arrive at the dress rehearsal, they are to check in at the information booth so we know they have arrived. Students will then head into the auditorium once they are in costume, sit with their class, and wait to be called to the stage.
It is important to come as ready as possible to the rehearsal, as we will have limited changing space available. We will only have access to the auditorium and bathroom on Friday. A changing room will be supplied, along with pop-up tents for changing, in a designated location. There will be racks available in that area as well for students with multiple costumes.
Students are allowed to leave rehearsal after performing the finale and all of their dances.
Only students performing in all 3 recital shows will be permitted to leave any costumes overnight. All other students must take their personal belongings home after the dress rehearsal, as we do not have storage space for them this year.
Recital Day Procedures - Saturday, June 13th, 2025
Recital Day - SATURDAY, JUNE 13TH, 2025
Check-in Times for RECITAL DAY:
10:00 AM Show A → Check in at 9:00 AM
2:00 PM Show B → Check in at 1:00 PM
6:00 PM Show C→ Check in at 5:00 PM
Dancers should arrive 1 hour before showtime. Please come with hair and makeup done and in costume. If your dancer is in multiple dances, please have them ready for their first dance.
As always, the safety of our dance family is our #1 priority. When students arrive at the recital, they are to be checked in at our check-in booth so we know they have arrived. At the check-in booth, the student and one parent/guardian will each receive a matching lanyard with a Name and Number attached. Parent/Guardians, please do not lose this, as you will need it to pick up your child. At check-in, students will also receive a tote bag for all their belongings (snacks, activity books, etc). Please try not to have your dancers bring any valuable items, especially electronic devices. Our studio and the venue will take no responsibility for any item that is damaged, misplaced, lost, or stolen.
Once checked into the changing area, dancers will not leave until after the show. Parents are asked to head to the auditorium to take their seats or head outside to enjoy the food trucks on site. Students will be supervised by staff and volunteers in the dressing rooms before and during the recital. (Dance with Me students are permitted to go to the auditorium with their parent if the adult chooses to purchase a ticket to watch the show after performing.)
Students are not permitted to leave the performance early, as ALL dancers are included in this year's grand finale. We will dismiss all dancers from the stage at the conclusion of the finale and return them to the changing room (cafeteria). A parent or guardian will then return to the check-in table with the lanyard they received at drop-off to check out their student. There, we will dismiss by age group, beginning with our youngest students. This process does take a few minutes, and we very much appreciate your patience at pick up while we confirm that dancers are picked up by their rightful guardian.
Dance with Me Families: All Dance with Me students and dancing parent/guardian will start backstage. After the performance, we would like to ask that, if parents/guardians intend to sit in the audience for the recital, you also take your child to the auditorium to sit on your lap. You should also return backstage five numbers before the finale dance so you can perform with the entire studio for the last dance. If you dance with me, parents/guardians who wish to be with your child in the changing room throughout the show are more than welcome to do so. You will be 100% responsible for them in the changing room. We do not have enough volunteers to watch this age group during the show.

Video & Photography
To protect our dancers and comply with copyright and child safety laws, personal photography and video recording are strictly prohibited during the performance.
We have partnered with professional videographers who will capture the show for you, and it will be shared as a digital file.
We know it can be tempting to record these special moments yourself. Still, we encourage you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the performance, knowing your memories are being professionally and safely preserved.
Thank you in advance for respecting this policy and reminding your guests to do the same. Our goal is to ensure we know exactly who is filming our dancers and that only trusted, currently enrolled families receive access to this footage. This helps us keep all of our performers safe while providing you with beautiful, high-quality memories to treasure.
