YES! To participate in the show, dancers must attend dress rehearsal. If you do not attend dress rehearsal on Friday, June 12th, 2026, you cannot perform in the recital. Dress rehearsal will be held in the Oley Valley Middle School Auditorium.

Dress Rehearsal Date: Friday, June 12th – for ALL dancers in our Saturday show.

Recital Date: June 13th, for ALL dancers in our Saturday show.

We have three separate shows, and each class will perform once on recital day. Classes may practice up to two times on dress rehearsal day. Students enrolled in multiple classes are more likely to be in multiple shows. Please do not request that your family be placed in one specific show. We are unable to accommodate individual requests.

Arrival & Preparation  

On Dress Rehearsal Day, dancers are expected to arrive and check in at the designated times listed below on Friday, June 12th, 2026. Prompt arrival and check-in are extremely important to help rehearsals run smoothly and stay on schedule for all dancers and families.

1. Check-in Times for DRESS REHEARSAL DAY:

   • 10:00 AM Show A → Check in at 9:30 AM

   • 2:00 PM Show B → Check in at 1:00 PM

   • 6:00 PM Show C → Check in at 5:00 PM

Dress Rehearsal Procedure  

Students are encouraged to arrive already dressed and on time. Requirements can be found on the Costumes/Hair/MakeUp tab and on our Customer Portal. You must follow specifications, as we will be taking live-action photos during our rehearsal. Dancers in incorrect tights, shoes, or costumes will be asked to change.

• A designated changing area will be available outside the auditorium for costume changes. Signs will be posted, and the information booth will be available to assist.

• Dressed dancers will enter the auditorium with their class, and parents will sit with their dancer’s class in clearly labeled seating so we can easily find each group when it is their turn to rehearse.

  • • Younger students will practice 1–2 times on stage.  

    • Older students, Performance Team and Competition Students will practice once.  

• Whether they dance in the first or last number, all of our students are expected to dance the finale first. 

• Dancers are permitted to leave after they finish performing the finale and their whole-class routine.

• If your child has any Medical Conditions that may require attention whilst in our care, or is carrying any medication, please notify our supervisors when you sign in. All medication (EPI Pens, Inhalers, etc.) should be clearly labeled and given to our supervisors.

What do I need to bring? 

• All costumes and costume accessories

• Correct color shoes  

• Old tights for dress rehearsal in the correct color. Do not wear new tights to dress rehearsal—save those for recital day.

Photos & Video  

Photos and video may be taken only during the dress rehearsal. Recording during the recital is strictly prohibited to protect student privacy and choreography. Anyone recording during the show will be asked to leave without a refund. Professional videographers will film the recital so you can relax and enjoy the moment.
