“cbd” is the second single and eighth track for his second album, hypochondriac released December 2, 2022.

The track uses brakence’s famously innovative sound to touch on the subject of death, which is almost globally seen as taboo due to it conjuring feelings of fear or even terror by creating imagery. This is developed as a larger image in the full album.

It was first teased with the letter “d” three weeks before its release (followed with a “b” then “c”), the track finally dropped on January 21, 2022 alongside an accompanying music video by Coming of Age
