Brahmi Brahim currently works at Mechanical Engineering Department, McGill University as resercher and at École de Technologie Supérieure as teaching assistant. Brahmi does research in Rehabilitation robots and Bioengineering system. He is working actually on integrating a haptic system into a real-time physics-driven virtual reality surgical simulator and control system of spinal robotics device.
1- Develop an advanced controls for ÉTS-MARSE (Motion Assistive Exoskeleton-robot for Superior Extremity)' to complete different modes of rehabilitation.
2- Integrating a haptic system into a real-time physics-driven virtual reality simulator and control system of spinal robotics device .
3- ÉTS-MARSE rehabilitation robot functionality test with stroke patients.
4- Biological Control Based on electromyography signals (EMG) to detect the human intention motion. Machine learing, intelgent system, fuzzy logic, Neural Network.
5- Formation control of swarm robot manipulators for transporting an objects.
6- Conducting research on wearable robots, industrial modular robots, Unmanned aerial vehicle, and walking robot such as NAO robot.
7- Advanced control strategies for: off-microgrid system based on solar photovoltaic system (SVPA) , Standalone Distributed Generation System .... etc
