Brahim Brahmi received a Ph.D. in Engineering from the École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 2019, with his thesis and specialization being in nonlinear control and robotics. Recently, he joined the Electrical Engineering department at the College of Ahuntsic, Canada as a professor. From July 2019 to July 2020, he held the post of postdoctoral research fellow in the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Research Lab at the Mechanical Engineering Department, McGill University. He is a member of the Control and Energy Management Lab, a bio-robotics research lab, and an Associate Researcher at the GREPCI-Lab, ETS, Montreal, QC, Canada. His research interests are in nonlinear and adaptive control, bio-robotics, rehabilitation robotics, fundamental motion control concepts for nonholonomic/underactuated vehicle systems, haptics systems, intelligent and autonomous control of unmanned systems, intelligent systems, and machine learning. He serves as a regular referee and associate editor for many international journals in the fields of control and robotics.
