This status allows dedicated members to continue to be a part of the organization they would otherwise be able to commit their time to if it weren’t for extenuating circumstances.
Academic reasoning may require further questioning/ documents
Requirements
Members must have been active members of Epsilon Sigma Alpha for at least 2 semesters.
Members interested in Active Alumni Status must submit a petition to the chapter executive board, which can either approve or deny the requested status.
Applications will be reviewed by the executive board and respective alumni chair
1st approval or denial will be granted at this time. If approved a meeting will be proceed
A secondary 5-minute meeting will be scheduled with the person applying with the alumni chair and Standards during the overall time frame for any information needed
Approval or denial will be emailed to the individual the following day
This status can be held for 2 academic semesters maximum.
Semesters do not have to be consecutive.
Petitions for special cases can be made to the executive board.
Members on this status must complete half of the required service hours.
Members on this status must only pay national dues.

Members on the status may not run for any executive position during or after being granted this status. They must have a full semester of being active members before running in the spring election.
While on status they may not be allowed to participate as a chair or assistant to any executive position in any capacity
If they wish to become a chair after their alumni status has finished and rejoined active status. They may apply and become a chairs the following academic semester
Members of this status can attend any sisterhood events, date parties, or formal events.
Must complete 6 hours of service for date party and formal
Must inform both standards and external position
Members on Active Alumni Status are allowed to receive an Epsilon Sigma Alpha graduation stole and attend the annual graduation photoshoot.
Members on Active Alumni Status may be asked to pay the chapter for their stole in full since they are not paying chapter dues. This is at the discretion of the chapter Treasurer.
No additional things may be added to the stole besides name, ESA, and year of graduation
Members will be allowed to wear any previously purchased merchandise with letters
Members will not be allowed to wear any letters to any venue with alcohol
All alcohol policies will still apply as if they are an active member of the chapter
Members will be allowed to purchase any fall or spring apparel
They will follow the payment procedure for both as dictated by the PR executive position
Members on this status will be emailed a copy of the chapter slides every week.
