Bradley Edmonds’ work explores the Internal Crossroads of his identity and explores how factors such as religious guilt, queerness, and masculinity shape his understanding of self.
Pulling from familiar iconographies in his childhood, he appropriates these found symbols into a visual language, exploring the complexities found between external, traditional beliefs and his own. In both conceptual and formal practices, he combines the aesthetics of antiquity and contemporary imagery to create a more cohesive voice throughout his art.
Edmonds’ newer work is dependent on the experimentation of traditional methods of artmaking on unorthodox surfaces, inviting to the viewer to understand his work in context with the found atmosphere.
Edmonds graduated from Flagler College in 2024 with a BFA in Fine Arts. He is currently attending the University of Central Florida for his MFA in Emerging Media and Studio Design.
He has exhibited in Crisp-Ellert Art Museum in St. Augustine Florida, City Arts Gallery in Downtown Orlando, Florida, and The Casselberry Arts Center in Casselberry, Florida. His work was also featured in PETTY Magazine, an independent an international, artist owned zine.
