"SOLIDWORKS is used by millions of designers and engineers at hundreds of thousands of companies. It’s one of the most popular design and engineering software on the market. Known for its range of features and high functionality, SOLIDWORKS is used across multiple professions and industries around the world. SOLIDWORKS uses parametric design, which is why it’s such an effective tool for designers and engineers. This means that the designer can see how changes will affect its neighboring components, or even the overall solution. For example, if the size of a single component is increased, this would affect the joint or hole it’s attached to. This allows designers to spot and correct issues quickly and easily "
Introduction to SOLIDWORKS
This lesson includes:
Creating base, boss, and cut features from sketches
Adding fillets to smooth edges
Creating a circular pattern
Adding drawing views
Adding centerlines, center marks, and dimensions to the drawing
I made a circular sketch first. Then I extruded
I did it again but with a smaller circle
I used an extruded cut on the center point
Then I filleted the outer edges, and extruded cut a circle
I used an extruded cut to make a circle in the middle of the extruded 2nd circle
I then filleted and used a circular pattern, and then lastly filleted the edges
First Circle
second smaller circle
extruded, arrayed it and filleted it, and then created a 3rd circle
extrude cut the 3rd circle
then I did it again for a smaller circle
i then made a smaller circle
I made a circular pattern and then extrude cut the three circles
The final product after filleting
I made a box with the dimensions shown on the picture
I made a extruded circle
I then made a extruded cut in that circle
Then I used the command "shell" and then colored it.
