Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Blue Ridge Astronomy Club is a not-for-profit group of amateur astronomers and astro-imagers of varying levels of experience. We are dedicated to sharing and promoting the wonders of the night sky. We operate generally in the Bedford/Forest/Lynchburg area. We foster appreciation of the night sky through regular meetings and various outreach efforts in the area. The club is open to individuals of all ages regardless of education, astronomical knowledge, or experience.
We meet monthly, usually on the third Tuesday of each month, at a local public library community room. Meeting dates and times can sometimes vary, subject to room availability. Guests are welcome.
To learn more, you can browse our site, follow us on Facebook, or come check us out our next meeting. You can always stay in the loop by joining our mailing list too!
