Yes, that is definitely a logical approach you offer. I prefer staying with the Klipsch OEM as this particular pair of speakers I have already has one set of OEM brackets. I will supply the speaker without with duplicates. Thank you for your comment.

Have any of you used the info panel relocation bracket? Here's my thought - if I can't get a decent Bluetooth setup to work through my nav screen, I may have to go with an external device. My only quip about that is I don't like pieces mounted to the dash, console, hanging out in space, wires running everywhere, etc.

So check out my thoughts here - there are several Bluetooth units that are rectangular in size which may work perfect here. What if I remove my ashtray and install this bracket to start with, then attach the Bluetooth device so that it's tucked and out of the way. Thoughts?

To the OP: I am guessing you want to remove the ashtray, install this bracket, but put the bluetooth behind the bracket instead of the trip computer? I would say that would be fine... probably the best 'clean' install for this type of item. The ashtray does come out.... and you could reverse this install as well which is a good option. Good luck.

I have both headphones and speakers plugged into my computer and use the onboard audio on my motherboard to switch between them. This is possible since I plug the speakers into the front panel and the headphones into the rear I/O of the motherboard. While functional, I don't like that I have to run a cable to the front of the PC.

I know I could buy a sound card to accomplish this, but I would prefer to just use the onboard audio and don't want to spend the money when I already have hardware that suits my needs otherwise. The V120 can be used with pro speakers that weigh up to 40 lbs (18.1 kg). The weight of the V120 brackets and adapters does not need to be considered when determining the weight capacity. If the speaker has a U bracket for mounting to the V120, then the combined weight of the speaker and U bracket must be 40 lbs (18.1 kg) or less.

If the mounting threads are located on the back of the speaker, it is best to first install the L-Bracket or C-Bracket on the speaker. Adjusting the tilt angle will shift the center of mass, so it is best to install the bracket with the speaker into the V120 and adjust the tilt angle to its optimal position. The L-Bracket or C-Bracket can then slide forwards or backwards to balance the weight underneath the V120. If you are not certain it is balanced properly, you can remove the speaker and L-Bracket or C-Bracket from the V120 and try finding the balance point on the L-Bracket or C-Bracket. Once the balance point is found, slide the bracket back into the V120 mount with the balance point centered in the V120 mount. The weight does not need to be perfectly balanced, but balancing the weight over the isolators will ensure optimal performance.

hi, i'm don't know if i'm in the correct forum or not but here goes. i have that very cool mounting bracket that allows me to securely put my POD HD on my desktop or there are two "nuts" that allow mounting on a mic stand, this is all very handy, however, when the unit is mounted on the mic stand it can get a bit hairy with other people around, i.e. not paying attention. i have noticed on the bottom of the pod there are 4 very small holes that look like one can screw the bracket more securely than the 4 rubber feet.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I took one of the rubber feet to the hardware store bought bolts, washers and nuts (I can't tell you the size as its been over a year). Screwed them in the bracket and put electrical shrink tubing over the threads. I use the amp handle of a Tech 21 Power Engine 60 in lieu of the mic stand. You could probably use a couple of the thin velcro cable ties to really secure the Bean to the mount and stand, if onltyfor peace of mind. :)
