Hi, I’m Riley — the hands and heart behind Bracelets of Hope.
I started this project in memory of my grandpa, who passed away from pancreatic cancer. He wasn’t just my grandfather — he was my best friend. Losing him was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through, and it inspired me to create something meaningful to honor his life and help others facing similar battles.
Now, I hand-make paracord bracelets and write encouraging cards for people in hospice, living with cancer, or dealing with serious illness. Every bracelet is a small reminder that someone cares, and every card is written with love and hope. I give everything away for free, because I believe even the smallest gesture can bring light into someone’s darkest days.
I’m just one person trying to make a difference — one bracelet, one card, one heart at a time.
Thank you for being here and supporting Bracelets of Hope.
I didn’t plan any of this — I just started writing cards and making paracord bracelets.
After my grandpa passed away from pancreatic cancer, I was heartbroken. He was more than my grandpa — he was my best friend. We were really close, and losing him hit me hard.
I needed something to do with all the feelings I was carrying. One day, I picked up some paracord and started making bracelets. Then I started writing cards with encouraging messages — things I wish someone had said to my grandpa, or to me while I was going through it.
That’s how Bracelets of Hope started. Just me, trying to help people feel seen, loved, and supported. And now, I send these bracelets and cards to anyone going through a hard time — for free — in memory of him.
Bracelets of Hope exists to bring comfort, strength, and encouragement to individuals facing life-threatening illnesses, hospice care, or emotional hardship. Through handmade paracord bracelets and handwritten cards, we aim to remind each person that they are seen, valued, and never alone. Inspired by the memory of my grandpa, our mission is to spread hope — one bracelet, one card, and one heart at a time.
