My first boss-tier AI. I wanted to see how far I could take Kohaku, and guess what? She can be a monster in the right hands. It's hard to stop Magical Amber!
The code was adapted from DaMarioMemer's AI for Shana, so both characters' AI patches have similar-ish .cmd layouts and programming style. Big thanks to her for creating that AI, though I've changed a lot since then.
Production started before Koopa Troopa, but her AI was released after his.

Warning: I cannot guarantee if Papa Louie will work 100% on the version in ACD's dropbox, tho I'm planning to update him later.
The Papa's games are undeniably certified hood classics, even today, thousands still play them. Even I played a few like Freezeria actively through late 2019 or so.
Anyways, this chef has quite a few tricks up his sleeve, but his AI is fairly easy to punish once you get used to what he does.
This Papa Louie's a remake version, so be sure to update him if you somehow have the original version.

Fiction Fight has recently impacted the world of MUGEN with a crapton of characters to be honest.
One of those guys was this default male Mii that I just had to AI patch. He comes as a full character.
I completed 99% of his AI within an hour and the last 1% were the updates I gave him afterwards.
Too bad he's no match for AC19's Matt lol.

Many Nijikaku's fall into the bottom end of MUGEN AIs, and this seemingly innocent OS-Tan is one of them. However, this AI patch is here to save the day.
Due to containing a few suggestive elements, I've included a configuration section within state 190 in 'intro_outro.cns.'
She's configured to be as SFW as possible while not sacrificing performance, but if you want to experience those suggestive elements, you can I guess.
Also, fvar(37) poison is disabled.

On another note, I've converted the latest version of her to regular Mugen here. She'll be appropriately AI patched again at a later date due to how much she has changed.
I had this one in production for a while, but recently I decided to fix her up and released her. She's based on slightly older AI coding, but the coding isn't dated enough to be considered a legacy AI patch.
This AI patch is one that I may refine over time though lol.

Currently supports Matt and Natalie. Also supports Matt's hotfix update. I cannot guarantee if these will work 100% on the versions in ACD's dropbox, tho I'm planning to update them later.
I saw that Camren recently released these two. Because Camren's AIs are potatoes (looking at you Salad Fingers), I decided to upgrade Matt and Natalie's AIs to level 100.
I'm quite proud to say that these two are roughly equal in terms of performance, so they both can hold their own.

A bootleg of Robert Garica from Art of Fighting. Comes from KOF98 for the Sega Genesis.
Unlike most of my other AI patches, he contains plenty of edits. The original character is VERY weak, so he's buffed relatively heavily.
Also, the portrait here is actually one of Roberts, but all Lobaut has is that one grin. May as well let him get away with more stealing lol.

Here, I AI patched a MVC2. However, it's one for War Machine, probably one of the most obscure characters from the game.
It didn't take very long to AI patch him, as I got back into the AI patching groove. He turned out solidly and probably makes for the best War Machine in AI difficulty and quality.

A lot of Felicity characters have lately fallen to F, including this (Un)Lucky Inaba, but her luck flipped around when I AI patched her LMAO.
I'll probably look at more Touhous/Non-bootlegged KOFs soon lol. This one was fun.
Also her internal name is "Tewi Glauber", not "Lucky Inaba" so watch out for that lol. I changed the displayname to "Lucky Inaba" though!

Decided to patch this Lemon, the first of many Simonkin variants.
He's a basic but funny guy. The default version however, was considerably underpowered, so I decided to change him up a little. All edits are documented in my .txt file.

Here I am, AI patching a Shiki, but not an ordinary one.
Sadodes is certainly trapped in the 2010s. An OC to be along the likes of Nick Hooper, he distinguishes himself primarily by having a pretty damn funny voice.
Also once he activates blood heat, you might possibly be fucked.

As of the 4th of June, I've been given the greenlight to get Moyomoto released!
Whilst initially private on request, Mod has given me the permission, and although I was a few days late to releasing him (I was greenlit as far back as the 1st of June), I'm glad I didn't entirely forget.
In terms of edits, he got Mako treatment, and fights roughly even with her. Should pose a solid challenge against most other Nijikakus.

After least a month in the works, I finally get to release an AI patch that I wanted to do for a VERY long time.
She was briefly mentioned in Miscellaneous Crap under the Ricepigeon 2hus entry of Private AI Patches, where I mentioned how I had an early half-job attempt. This time however, I fully finished her and ended up with a product far greater than what I could've imagined in 2023.
As an additional side note, not listed in the readme is a major fix that makes her get up iframes work properly in MUGEN since they appear to be broken with the default THIZ common file set.
I'm extremely glad to have remade this formerly private AI patch.

If you're wondering why this character is marked as a man and not a woman it's because of the bodyguard. He does all of the work.
Anyways my editing has gotten more elaborate recently and Mako is considerably stronger than my previous Nijikaku AI patching/editing attempts. Have fun with a more stronger one!

What began as a side project eventually turned into a main project I worked on at an extremely fast rate, likely because of my general familiarity with the BBTag style after working with multiple over my AI patching career.
However, for the first time since Kohaku, I've actually gone ahead and properly patched this. And to be honest, wasn't expecting to do such a thing so quickly lol.
Additionally I also have edited her a little since I felt that a lot of her moves were just designed more inferiorly compared to other BBTags and to give said moves a bit more use in her kit. In my opinion it helps her quite a bit.
Comes with a differently named .def and AI folder if you wish to keep the original files around as well.

I took a different approach with this one. I decided to work with Reckty here, and he suggested a handful of characters to patch, so I started with Fancy Pants Man since he wouldn't be too difficult to patch.
Unlike my previous ACD patches. This guy is one of ACD's MVC Guest Characters, playing loosely like said game. He wasn't too difficult to patch and eventually got completed after plenty of labbing with Reckty and a couple of edits along the way too.

While Yukina was a side project, THIS was the main project.
After having a break for quite some time, I chose to invest a lot more time into her these past few days and it's allowed completion within a really reasonable time.
I've wanted to work on a TESTP for a bit, and I chose this one to want to do a few months ago, but no work was put into her until fairly recently, and most of her AI patch code has been done within the past few days. Her files also come with DOS jank fixes and a hitbox adjustment to her tatsumaki moves so they can more reliably hit lower opponents.
Typically I only test for compatibility with Mugen 1.0 and later, but I've confirmed that this one works with WinMugen too! Just keep in mind that auto-AI is enabled by default as a toggleable option in a list configuration settings right under her statedef -1.

While I was patching 250% Ryuko on the right here (not during the time with the net AI tool of course), I also looked into Kumi because why not? The older version of Cerenas' Kumi was a low rated downdrafter and since Ryuko ended up having a lot going for her, I decided to check her too.
Kumi has a surprisingly large pool of special and super moves, about like 7 of each, though I don't really remember exactly how many are unique. Some of the grab supers were mediocre at best for her however so I turned those into reversals as a result, they can still be punished by DPs however! Also, some air.hittimes are added to some of her normals, similarly to Ryuko's case.
With that, alongside the usual 250% guard cancel-ish counter that's meterless and is very active, she can definitely hold her own now!

However, the Baxverse characters ended up debuting on SpriteClub later since they went under the radar of most users until fairly recently.
Mateo was one of a handful of characters who stuck out. He wasn't only clearly inspired from Super Mario, but by default, he lacks AI and also has some of his commands disabled when his 'AI' is on so he almost doesn't attack at all. RTSD
So then I bought up the idea of patching him to DMM as a joke, she was on board, this became real, and now he's Super Mateo. RTSD
Comes as a full character for now to spare the need to download the BAS fullgame to obtain him.

This character made me realise how fun 250% was.
Asuka 120% patches seem to be fairly uncommon now, but on the SC site, we did manage to get versions of all Asuka characters... Except for Genichiro, and surprisingly Ryuko.
I remember trying to AI patch her long before this recent effort... With the net AI generator tool, and even with tweaks that was just a mediocre 5th. I scrapped that patch shortly after lol. It wasn't particularly ideal for her.
Then Giant Red Hand AI patched her (good on him though :b), but I still felt like I could do a better attempt than what I did with her last time so I chose to properly patch her this time around. The results? Far better than before.
So now that this version of the volleyballer has two AI patches now, that leaves only Genichiro of the Asuka 120% cast to be AI patched... Unless if Funny Soundeffects Man (peak edit btw) counts.
Also, 250% Ryuko has special configuration settings which effects how she can cancel her moves into backdashing, since likely unintentionally, she only needs to perform the backdash command to use that move without any other requirement. She can even cancel hitstun!
Oh and in terms of edits, she only has around two of them. One being air.hittimes to make her combos work properly on characters with MUGEN 1.0-era teching code and the other being the removal of a width trigger from her standing medium punch as that basically did nothing for her.

Another Queen of Hearts patch... Except I just noticed at the time of writing, Lemmy has still been kept private. RTSD
Corin is a really old character, and by that I mean 2001. She had a lot of oddball coding which I've decided to clean up to some extent, and I've overhauled her .air file for more consistent hitboxes combos. Special thanks to Sergio P. for finding a .air animation error in state 420 and overhauling that state's hitboxes and hurtboxes.
As you can tell from that she's quite edited. A practically complete list of edits can be found in my self-named readme that comes with the character. And before I forget, this comes as a full character since the version of Corin circulating online comes with a few unused effects in her .cmd likely added by some other user later on and to obtain the purest version of this character you had to download a whole QoH fullgame. Well, now you don't!
Also this character was featured in Dashmastermind's adoption service. Check out the MEGA folder! Perhaps you can AI patch one of these characters yourself, though quite a few are patched by other authors now so be sure to check before patching.

Interesting story about this one lol.
During sometime in 2023, not long after Iroha got updated to MUGEN 1.1 specifications, I actually patched her myself back then, but this was when my patching skills were a lot more sloppy and I deleted it afterwards since I ended up not liking my patch back then.
Now, around two and a half years later, I've patched her again, this time bringing her up to performance which is about as good as it gets for SS5SP stuff. Iroha isn't that strong, but I'm pleased with how she turned out this time and obviously won't ever take this one down.
As per misao's guidelines this patch does NOT modify her performance. If you want though you can cosmetically edit her or try and convert her to MUGEN 1.0 standards instead. IDK if she works on 1.0 yet lol I don't actively test with that version of the engine.

Kensou marks my second collaboration patch with Reckty and he was a fairly interesting experience to patch.
ROTD stuff is fairly straightforward, but also kinda not at the same time. A lot of moves in ROTD characters are fairly situational, so it was a bit of a challenge to implement some of Kensou's moves and mechanics, but I'd say he turned out well in the end.
Also while he placed 5th, he beats some IQS characters. Keep that in mind. Also I might look at more ROTD characters in the future, they're pretty fun and a surprisingly low amount of them have been actually patched.

This one sort of happened.
I've got a lot of AI patches to be done in the future but I went on a holiday across state, cutting down on a lot of what would've otherwise been free AI patching time.
That did not stop me from completing this patch in about 2 days however.
What began as a February thought turned into a full-on patch speedrun when Mod mentioned V.G. Max outta nowhere. And now here we are.
And no I actually didn't rush this either she just took a very short amount of time to complete. LMAO
Have fun with this while I continue to work on some more ambitious patches.
