Iroha got updated literally today so the AI has been updated to support the latest version.
21st of March 2026:
Iroha has been given a minor AI update to be a bit smarter with forward hopping and using it much, much less.
17th of March 2026:
Iroha's AI patch has been updated to now use her instakill attack whenever possible. I forgot to implement it in her initially released patch, sorry lol.
Also corrected the previous update log date. I marked it as the 14th (when Iroha was last updated prior to release) instead of the 16th (when I released the patch itself).
16th of March 2026:
Iroha SS5SP AI patch has been released.
Iroha has subsequently been pulled from the Lost AI Patches section (if anybody cared, lol).
I've got a lot of WIPs coming up, expect a lot more in the future.

Fixed a small oversight in Corin's 41236B custom state where the opponent wouldn't fall down into a dying state if she killed with the move. Instead, the opponent would just be standing, but dead (against herself at least since her state 0 doesn't have that "are you dead" changestate.

No new AI patch shenanigans yet but I'm releasing a side project I've worked on for the past few days now. You can find it in Windows 3.1's section of the AI Patches and Other Content page.
Also I keep spelling February as "Feburary", my bad. I've corrected every single typo I've left on this site.

Ryuko Yamazaki updated to prevent potential simuls crashing. Thanks to DaMarioMemer for pointing out this bug.
30th of January 2026:
Rolled out the state 150 updates for the 250% characters. I patched up both on the 16th when I first uncovered the bug but didn't release the fixed up versions until now.
For other characters this will come later. Most of my recent time has been spent progressing on a decent handful of WIPs to come later down the line.
18th of January 2026:
I just found out myself that apparently a few of my AIs are using sub-optimal AI code for state 150 specifically, guarding on the condition that an opponent is crouching or not instead of guarding according to the dedicated guarding variable.
Corin has been updated again to fix this issue, and more AI patches will be recieving updates in the coming days.

It's just been bought to my attention that Corin is a simuls crasher atm so please be patient for an upcoming update+fix she needs regarding that and a couple of variable-related jank I failed to notice.
I've got quite many plans for this year but I also am in year 12 so I might not have a massive output. However, please continue to look forward to new patches!

Another very very tiny update to 250% Kumi to override default MUGEN AI control of teching direction. Ryuko has had this since release but I forgot to do this for Kumi until now.
6th of December 2025:
Fixed unexpected bug across both 250% AI patches.
26th of November 2025:
Nuked duplicate taunt changestate from Kumi's AI.
24th of November 2025:
250% Ryuko has been updated right after she debuts. How inconvenient.
It's nothing major at least.
Also corrected 250% Kumi's last update dates.

FPM given a minor update to prevent AI opponents from teching his throws since they can do so frequently otherwise.
Both 250% Kumi and 250% Ryuko have now been properly released on the site, write-ups on both will be coming later.

Pretty major drop after only one month. Two new patches and a patch update for Moyomoto. Scroll down to the bottom of the AI patches page to found out who's now been patched!
Oh and uuh... Luigi Figure... Yeah... I'm focusing a bit more on other patching projects right now but I can definitely update his patch really soon I promise!
27th of September 2025:
Deboooots! Shinobu placed 3rd at 1565 rating btw.
Unfortunately she needed another tiny and minor update, but her performance should largely be unaffected. I'm very lucky I even spotted the problem I fixed in the first place!
Update: had to shadow drop a second fix for her.
26th of September 2025:
Shinobu updated yet again, Luigi Figure misses his update deadline by a large margin for two reasons: lack of motivation and a larger focus on upcoming projects that are more elaborate.
My (hopefully last) deadline for him now is the end of September. He shouldn't be hard to complete, it's just that I haven't worked on him since like, the 15th of September.
21st of September 2025:
Shinobu updated again, correcting a minor bug.
16th of September 2025:
Corrected Shinobu's last updated date in a secret page she has. Consider trying to find that page lol.
Fortunately that page was already using her latest link so I only had to change that text.

Teensy update for Shinobu to increase guarding reliability a little. Primarily done in preparation for SC debuts this week.
Luigi Figure is nearing completion I suppose, expect his update to be released by the end of the week.

TESTP Shinobu AI patch has now been released. Image at the top right has now been changed from one of her to Luigi Figure since rolling out a well-deserved update for him is my next plan now. I suppose this little image will by my upcoming WIP plan image from now on.

Three things:
1. Kohaku BBTag's AI updated to correct how she uses ultra guard cancel. Performance is practically the same.
2. Sumireko THIZ's AI readme updated to correct me referring to Ricepigeon as "The Ricepigeon".
3. Summer Yukina BBTag's AI is now released. Finished this one a bit ago but gave her some pre-release updates so she could release in a polished state.
Currently working on an AI patch for Shinobu by TESTP. Expect to see that one come out next.
9th of August 2025:
Small update for Sumireko I had in storage for some time. Isn't anything major and will probably be her last update for the forseeable future.
Unfortunately school will make AI patching a LOT slower now. However I'm continuing to make some progress and the next AI patch will probably be released by September at least.
I'm also considering to work on multiple at a time for once instead of focusing on one and moving onto the next.
26th of July 2025:
Supercar11 bought Goro Majima back into my head, and I realized that I had taken down an old link in the SC Discord so I'll be preserving him in the Misc. Crap section from now on.
19th of July 2025:
A minor update for Kohaku BBTag released in preparation for more updates to come for all of the others. Chose to update her first since she was already pretty much complete in the first place.
Update: hotfixed Kohaku, uploaded Minion Pig's AI patch as a full character.
14th of July 2025:
Iron Skull AI patch released as a full character, and a minor site rework, mainly moving MSHvSF Ryu into the Miscellaneous Crap page since he's pretty damn obsolete compared to the others.

(And I've missed that week window for Iron Skull, aw shucks. I'll try and release him later!)

Sumireko updated once more for minor fixes.

Fortunately it was even more of a minor fix for Sumireko, and a fix for a behavior I forgot about midway through completing her AI.
I'll begin rolling out other updates starting with tomorrow!

6th of July 2025:
Quick hotfix for Sumireko THIZ. Glad I figured out that the NoWalk flag is useful for AI assertspecials to keep the AIs blocking instead of cancelling their blocking into random walking.
This probably affects most of my other AIs unfortunately so expect more of these fixes later.
Update: I had to update Sumireko again albeit for an issue exclusive to her only. She should be all good now!
4th of July 2025:
To celebrate Independence Day in America I suppose I'll be releasing Sumireko THIZ's AI patch early.
A few punctuation and spelling corrections have also been applied to the Characters and Miscellaneous Crap pages.
Iron Skull's AI improvements will still be private for the time being since getting Sumireko out was my focus but I'll release that within a weeks time hopefully.

Latest version of Kohaku BBTag's AI released. Held it off for some time in the case she still needed fixes, and for once she really didn't need any so this is likely the final product of that AI patch for a while.
Idr who else's AIs I might've updated along with her's so for the time being she'll be the only one for now.

Minor update two months later to get Moyomoto listed on the site. Probably will release Goro Majima's AI improvement patch later, and stay tuned for my next upcoming AI patch projects!

Minor hotfix for the Sadodes Ako AI patch. Original release came with an AILevel trigger he shouldn't have, and I also "fixed" a bug of sorts.

Decided to do something random and release an AI patch for the older version of Sadodes Ako. If you are using the older version with the SGS, then use this one instead.
Also some minor site changes, I'm planning to overhaul the about and misc sections of the site a little.

Harry Deggard AI patch updated really quick. A minor fix with his wall combos.
Update: he will now sometimes go for power geysers even at max meter, which the release AI refused to go for when on max meter.

2nd of October 2024:
An emergency update for Sagawa Transport has been rolled out. Fixed a bug where he was unable to combo air light kick into air strong kick in certain situations.
Please install this update and replace the .cmd file immediately.

Spotted a somewhat major flaw in MSHvSF Ryu lol. He's probably not the type of character I'd go back to frequently, but he got lucky this time.
22nd of July 2024:
Replaced all .7z files with .zip files due to virus-issues. Apparently 7z on macOS is bullshit so... Whelp.
This applies to Kohaku BBTag, MVC2 War Machine and Lucky Inaba. Make sure to redownload them all just in case if you have outdated versions!

EMERGENCY UPDATE: If her readme does not say that she is version 1.1, then she's outdated. Please use the latest version instead!

Kohaku got updated again. Basically adding some extra polish. Should be the final update for now!

Updated Kohaku BBTag's AI to correspond with the latest update. To be honest, she was practically unchanged, but I did strengthen the AI somewhat.
Her AI might need a bit more tidying up later down the line, but I'm happy with her current performance and won't likely change her AI behaviors unless if she recieves significant changes.
Also corrected a few things here and there for the website.
28th of June 2024:
Fixed a few nasty bugs in MVC2 War Machine; particularly one where the AI would get sent to state 0 without any control, temporarily breaking the AI.
As a minor announcement to end this off, I've had to transition to Mac since my old Windows laptop broke. However I've managed to get everything working well, and surprisingly, it hasn't been that bad although I do miss Windows...

Released an AI patch for BeanFan112's (Jank) Shaggy and also released my edit of MOC1105's Kitty Katswell. Both can be found in 'Miscellaneous Crap.' Both of these works were done a while ago.
