Welcome to BP Tracker, a mobile application designed to help you monitor your blood pressure and improve your health. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our app. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring transparency.
Health Data: Blood pressure readings and related metrics you manually enter or sync via compatible devices, stored locally on your device using SQLite.
Usage Data: Anonymized analytics data (e.g., app usage patterns) collected via Firebase Analytics to improve app performance.
Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version, collected anonymously to ensure compatibility.
No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect names, emails, or other personally identifiable information unless you choose to share it (e.g., via third-party login).
To provide and maintain the app’s functionality, including tracking and displaying your blood pressure data locally.
To analyze app usage and improve performance using Firebase Analytics (data is anonymized).
To ensure compatibility and fix bugs based on device information.
Third-Party Services: We use Firebase Analytics to process anonymized usage data. Their privacy policy is available at https://firebase.google.com/policies/analytics.
No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal health data to outside parties. Usage data shared with Firebase is anonymized.
Data Security: Health data is encrypted and stored locally. Usage data is protected per Google’s safeguards during transfer.
We retain your local health data only as long as you use the app, and you can delete it via the app’s settings. Usage data sent to Firebase is retained per their policies.
You can access, update, or delete your health data within the app.
You may opt out of analytics collection via your device settings or the app’s privacy options.
On iOS, we request App Tracking Transparency permission; denying it limits analytics but not core functionality.
Your usage data may be processed on servers located outside your country by Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to improve app performance. This data is anonymized and does not include your personal health information. We rely on appropriate safeguards, as outlined in Google’s privacy policy [https://firebase.google.com/policies/analytics], to protect this data during transfer.
