Who is the Bay Path SEPAC?

We are a group of parents helping other parents with information, resources, and moral support. If you have one question or several, we can help! Please "like" us on FaceBook, send us an email, or come to a meeting.

I have concerns about my teen’s educational performance, what should I do?

If your teen is on an IEP, you should consult your team chair and/or teacher.

If your teen is not on any specialized plan, or is on a 504 plan, contact his/her guidance counselor.

How do I determine if my teen is eligible for an IEP or 504, and how do I request an evaluation?

If you suspect your teen has a learning disability and may be in need of modifications or accommodations, you can request an evaluation by submitting a written request to the Administrator of Special Needs, NAlpine@baypath.net

What are my teen’s basic rights in education?

Attend the annual "Basic Rights in Special Education" presentation, and/or visit: (insert appropriate FCSN webpage)

How can I help my teen obtain the social and life skills needed for a smooth transition to employment, college, and adulthood?
