Dear Performing Arts Members and Families,
The Burlington Performing Arts Department is expanding, which is a positive development for our school and reflects the quality of our teachers and the programs offered. The Burlington Performing Arts Parent Association (BPAPA) is a volunteer board comprised of parents that supports all areas of the program, inclusive of Band(s) [Marching, Concert, Jazz, Percussion Ensemble, Winter Percussion], Orchestra, Chorus, Chamber Singers, Theatre (Fall play/Spring Musical), Color Guard, and Glee club.
Our goal is to raise awareness of the performing arts while addressing financial needs that may not be covered by the regular school budget. This initiative focuses on enhancing students' experiences and ensuring they have access to various opportunities within the program. As the program grows and requires more support, we encourage you to consider volunteering when opportunities arise. We also encourage students to volunteer as much as possible, it is a great way to give back to the program you love, and should you choose to apply for a BPAPA scholarship your Senior year your volunteer time will be criteria that is considered. The saying "it takes a village" holds true, as does the idea that "many hands make light work"
When emails for sign-ups are sent out, we invite students and guardians to contribute to the program we are all part of. Greater participation leads to more possibilities.
Thank you for your consideration.
