Tonia Egan Co-Chair, serving third year

Tonia is the parent of twin Juniors at Burlington High School, with her daughter actively and passionately involved in the performing arts. Her daughter has participated in B.E.S.T. as both a performer and counselor, as well as in the Fall plays and Spring musicals an active choral member, including Concert Chorus, Chamber singer, Glee Club and participates in many other choral after school events as well as pursues musical theatre with regional theatre companies. Tonia is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and representative board that supports all areas of the performing arts, ensuring every student has the opportunity to shine, feel valued within the community, grow, and create lasting memories. In addition to her fundraising efforts, she works diligently behind the scenes on business operations focusing on streamlining processes and strengthening organizational efficiency so BPAPA can continue to meet the needs of the growing music department.  She looks forward to continuing as an active and productive board member though her twins' time at BHS, Class of 2028.

Sue Wisniewski Co-Chair, serving her third year

Sue is the proud parent of twin Juniors at BHS. Her daughter is actively involved in multiple musical groups, including the Marching Band, Winter Percussion, and Percussion Ensemble, while also contributing as a Sound Technician on the Stage Crew. Through her involvement in these diverse activities, she is gaining proficiency in a variety of percussion instruments and continues to grow and develop her skills. 

Sue has spent the last year on the board chairing the committee for the inaugural US Bands competition, held in October 2025. Sue has also spent time reviewing and initiating current BPAPA processes and application tools to help make the board run more efficiently and grow its online presence through a new website and by maintaining and growing the social media platforms. Sue plans to continue on the board through the end of 2028, when her twins will graduate. 

Sharon Gates Treasurer, serving her third year

Sharon is the proud parent of two sons who are both active members of the BHS Marching Band. Her older son, a current Junior, has participated in Marching Band, Winter Percussion, and Percussion Ensemble. In addition, he has contributed his skills as a videographer and sound technician at BCAT (Burlington Cable Access Television), and this year he will also join the stage crew for the school musicals. Sharon’s younger son, a current sophmore is involved in both the Marching Band and the Percussion Ensemble. Sharon's older children were also involved. Her sons (classes of 2007 and 2010) were both part of the marching band, stage crew, and musicals, and her daughter (class of 2011) was in Chorus, Select Singers, and Chamber Singers. 

Linda McNamee Member at Large, serving her second year

Linda's son, Class of 2029, was part of the pilot program introducing eighth graders to the BHS Marching Band. Now as a Junior, he continues to be involved in the Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Winter Percussion, and Stage Crew. While he began his musical career on alto sax, he branched out to tenor sax for both Marching and Wind Ensemble, playing whichever instrument is needed more. He also chose to pick up cymbals for Winter Percussion. Linda's daughter, Class of 2027, was in Chorus her freshman year and is planning to sing again during her senior year. Linda enjoys attending all concerts and competitions, helping with field show set-up and break-down when she can. She strives to use her resources in her other volunteer roles to help BPAPA in their endeavors, increasing support for the Performing Arts whenever possible.

Kristin Ferrigno Secretary, serving her second year

Kristin is the proud parent of two children actively involved in Burlington’s arts programs. Her son, a sophmore, plays alto saxophone and performs with the marching band, jazz band, and concert band. Her daughter, a 7th grader, participates in the BEST program, has performed in the middle school musical and sings in the chorus. This is Kristin’s first year serving on the board as a member at large, and she has enjoyed seeing and contributing to the impact that BPAPA makes firsthand in the arts community.   

Lee Martorano Assistant Treasurer, serving her second year

Lee has had a long career as an Administrative Assistant and brings great experience in event planning and fundraising. She’s been a member of BPAPA for the past year, serving as a Member at Large, and was also very involved during the 8th-grade season before officially joining. Lee is excited for her second year and is hoping to step into the role of Assistant Treasurer.

Lee’s daughter, a sophmore, is very active in the performing arts. She’s part of the marching band as a color guard member and also participates in winter guard, both of which she started in 8th grade. She’s also involved in BHS chorus and theater. Her past performances include Seussical Jr. with B.E.S.T. in 8th grade, and The Crucible and The Wizard of Oz in high school. She’s also performed locally at the Burlington Playhouse.

Jon Fitzgerald Member at Large, serving his first year

Jon is the proud parent of a BHS senior (Class of 2027) and long-tenured member of the BHS Performing Arts community. Jon's son has thrived and found great joy and community in all that the performing arts at BHS have to offer. His son's stage achievements include five (5) BHS stage productions as well as serving as a performer and counselor in B.E.S.T.. As a musician, he's a four-year member of both the Marching Red Devils (serving as saxophone section leader in 2025) and the Symphonic Winds. He also lends his voice to the BHS Chorus, and even earned a spot in the MMEA Senior District Chorus in January 2026. Jon himself has been an energetic BPAPA supporter, volunteering for BPAPA at numerous competitions, performances, and fundraisers. Jon is honored to be involved in an organization that has done so much for our community and our youth.

Stephanie Britz Member at Large, serving her first year

 My name is Stephanie Britz. In the past, I was a social studies teacher and worked for the Burlington schools as a substitute teacher and tutor. I currently work in the Main Office at Chelmsford High School as a school secretary. I've always loved working with high school students--seeing students enter school as kids, but leave as young adults is amazing to see!

I have two kids that both love music and theater. My youngest, named Callie, is a 10th grader at BHS. Callie is a member of the front ensemble in Marching Band, plays drums in Winter Percussion, and is a select dancer in the school musical this year. My son Owen is a BHS graduate and participated in MEMA theater competitions as well as doing Improv with Mr. Hill. He often credits Improv practice with his being able to think quickly on his feet.

I'm looking forward to being a member of BPAPA because it's such an important organization that supports our performers. Performance is such a great way to not only express yourself, but also gain confidence and learn how to be part of a team. I truly believe that every kid deserves a chance to be part of the performing arts community. 

Julie Corbo Member at Large, serving her first year

Julie is a proud parent of her two children, both actively involved in the performing arts programs Burlington has to offer.  Her son, Nakul, is currently a sophmore and plays trumpet in the marching band (2nd year) and the jazz band.  Her daughter, Anya Zoe, is currently in the 8th grade.  Anya Zoe plays flute in her school bands and hopes to join the marching band this summer as an 8th grader.  She has also been involved in the B.E.S.T program since 4th grade and is actively involved in other musical theater programs in the surrounding community.  The Burlington performing arts program has always been dear to Julie, a BHS graduate (class of ’96), who played both the flute and baritone horn in concert band, marching band and a small chamber ensemble. She would love the opportunity to be more involved and give back to the program and community that has added so much to her life and now her children’s.
