TEAM EQUIPMENT

AISD Swimming will provide a racing suit, racing swim cap, team warm-ups, and a competition backpack to all Bowie swimmers.

Each swimmer MUST PROVIDE

-2 practice suits

-2 goggles

-practice cap (if you have long hair, you will want to wear one)

-training fins - DON'T FORGET THIS ONE! NOT SCUBA!

*Only goggles and a suit are required for tryouts. You should not purchase fins or any other gear until the team roster has been finalized by the end of the second week of practice.

LOCAL SHOPS

Local sports stores are typically limited on swimming gear like swim suits, goggles, and fins. There is satellite store of DJ Sports in the Mansfield Natatorium lobby, which is the closest location to Bowie where training fins and other proper swimming equipment can be found. Academy Sports also has some competitive swimming equipment, but it is limited.
