The online catalogue for the British Cool auction is now live and available to view on Bonhams.com. The David Bowie pyjamas are Lot 121, and the Freddie Mercury costume prints are Lot 128.

The David Bowie music video kaftan will be offered in the May 2022 auction of Rock, Pop & Film. Link to follow once catalogued.
The Pyjamas
1 x pair pale blue cotton pyjamas ( top + bottoms ) size 38 inch test.
These were worn only by David Bowie in the last images of the video portraying a hospital bed of a psychiatric ward.
NB Due to an in edit effect ,after filming, and to create an eerie colour saturation to style the story, these
pyjamas appear to be yellow. David Bowie’s skin is also colour altered to blue.
The Kaftan
1 x Black silk chiffon traditional kaftan, embroidered with gilt metal threads.
Small sample bag of the beads used to decorate the costume and headdress
NB The headdress, veil , necklaces , earrings and dress decorations were dismantled and recycled for other projects
These decoration pieces no longer exist.
Included certification of authenticity from the costume designer.
Letter of verification of designer by video director.
Copy of the costumer design for the Templar knight musicians used in video.
