Inclusive dialogues for community-led, collaborative planning
Community Governments: 26 Participants: 692
Site selection was led by our facilitation team, while participant selection was led by community leaders. This collaboration fostered effective working relationships between facilitators and hosts, leading to strong engagement from all communities.
Sites were identified by the facilitation team based on several criteria to ensure the project was representative of the population of each region and to reach both those communities which had been engaged in independence readiness awareness activities before and those which had not.
Our facilitators worked with community leaders to invite participants from the local Community Government area. Community leaders were provided with guidance to ensure the cohort of participants was representative of the local community, with women, young people, older persons, and people with a disability actively engaged to attend.
