Our Vision

The Boston x NY K-16 Study Group (BNYSG) is a grassroots Japanese professional development initiative that is led by its participants. Our vision is to eliminate any obstacles that hinder educators who have the desire to learn and improve. We operate on a volunteer basis, aiming to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants. Through our activities, we strive to enhance K-16 vertical articulation and empower educators with the confidence, knowledge, and skills needed to strengthen their regional teaching community. Furthermore, we are committed to promoting the use of the World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages (W-RSLL) and aiming 21st century teaching approach.
