Anna Piec, undergraduate

Research: Anna is working on the synthesis of new fluorescent dyes. Those will be tested towards interactions with the use of halogen bonding.

Karolina Wegner, undergraduate

Research: In beginning Karolina was involved in spectral measurements. Currently, her work is aimed at the synthesis of fluorophores with variable structural flexibility.

Former members (list starts with 2022)

Marta Głodek, PhD

Research: Marta was involved in the synthesis of fluorescent dyes of a) dipolar/quadrupolar structures and b) fluorescent dyes carrying variable aromatic core as factors influencing properties of dyes in the light of thsie steric and electronic effects. Marta was also working in the field of functionalization of membranes. Fortunatelly, Marta is still in our laboratory but under guidance of dr Mariusz Bosiak.

Krystian Marmurowski, undergraduate

Research: The synthesis of fluorescent dyes with tuneable position of emission, carrying bulky groups to limit inetrmolecular inetractions.

Morgan Bernard, Universite de Mulhouse, visiting student (three visits, last one for 6 months)

Research: Synthesis of fluorescent compounds with the emphasis on symmetry braeking withi their strucutre.

Syhana Joubert, IUT de Rennes 1, visiting student

Research: Synthesis of symmetric fluorescent compounds and their functionalization.
