Borderless World Foundation (BWF): is a Non-Governmental, Non-Profit Organization, established on 8th March 2002 and registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950(BPT) with its registered office at C 1/1, Survey No14/15, Yashavantrao Chavan Nagar Dhankwadi, Pune 411043 in the state of Maharashtra, Registered under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) and section 80G of the Income Tax Act. BWF is also registered as a Charitable Trust in the State of Jammu & Kashmir with Trust Registration No. 57, with its registered office at FAH" Balika Ashram, Balika Ashram Road Akalpur, Tehsil : Marh, Near Pushpanjali Clinic, District Jammu Pin: 180002. BWF is working since late 1990s for rehabilitation and socio-economic empowerment of the poor and deprived sections of the society in the strife-torn valley of Kashmir. With strong belief in the values of compassion and inherent dignity of human beings, the organization strives for ‘one great human family’ by working for the well-being of the affected, and the displaced population, irrespective of race, religion, and political persuasion. The BWF family is an open circle of people with a 'change-begins-with-me' approach to this cause. With its prime focus on geographically remote and disadvantaged border areas, BWF launched its rehabilitation projects in the frontier district of Kupwara, Beerwah_Budgam, Anantnag and Jammu, with the hope of making a positive difference to more lives.
BWF is a registered trust established in 2002, has a one of a mission to expand educational opportunities so that students may receive the best possible education, regardless of their abilities or disabilities. BWF understands the important role that education plays in society - it allows students of all abilities, socio-economic backgrounds, and ethnicities to come together to learn not only about academics and the world around them, but also about each other. To this end, BWF seeks to address special education teacher training initiatives and educate children with disabilities in a state-of-the-art facility for research and development of best practices.

Borderless World Foundation with a vision to Empower conflict affected children to reach their full potential through education and socio-economic initiatives came up with its projects like:
B-e-T’ (Basera-E-Tabassum) and ‘FAH’( Facilitate and Accomplish with Humility) in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.
Basera-e-Tabassum (B-e-T) Homes: first home for the conflict affected female children was started by BWF in district Kupwara in the year 2002. Initially, the home accommodated 12 children with very less facilities available. Today BWF is running three B-e-T Homes for the orphan girls in Kashmir valley as Basera-e-Tabassum meaning_ ‘Abode of Smiles’
The projects “Basera-E-Tabassum” & “FAH” in Jammu & Kashmir state are mostly involved in the development to facilitate an integrated learning environment for the holistic development of children by providing educational opportunities and structured, activity-based learning. It also provides a space for children to unwind, have fun and explore their aspirations and creative streak through various recreational activities as well as to make Kashmiri cultural available to children through various day-to-day activities, in addition to special activities and events, to let them explore the option of getting back to their roots and learning things that they would have probably done had they been with their parents.
At present B-e-T Homes have 170 inmates, (55 children in B-e-T Beerwah Home, 55 in B-e-T Kupwara, 30 in B-e-T Anantnag and 30 in Jammu –FAH ); the age group ranging from 3-18 years. as well as more than 35 girls are studying outside Jammu & Kashmir for higher Education.
UDAAN – WINGS OF HOPE
Udaan School and Rehabilitation Centre is a School for people with Special Needs in Drugmulla, Kupwara District of Jammu and Kashmir. It was started by the Indian Army in 2010 and now handed over to us since September 2019.
We have taken over the School to rehabilitate these children and provide them self-sufficiency, education, improved health and a better future. Our aim is to empower them to grow to be self-reliant for their own daily activities and lead a healthy life and move towards normal life.
We are working for their physical and psychological recovery, further if possible, social reintegration of these children. At present, we have adopted this unique concept school in Drugmulla, Kupwara District. With the help of our generous donors we will extend it to other places in Kupwara, because as per survey conducted by Handicapped Association of Kashmir, there are more than 38000 disabilities in Kupwara District
Emergency Medical Services is one of important project BWF is handeling in the state. 13 critical care ambulances are working under the project Kashmir Life Line and Jammu Life Line
