Requesting Community Input!

For America's 250th birthday, we are partnering with America250WA, who have a project called Out of Many, One. We can add an object, image, or artwork from our Depot Museum collection that reflects the American experience. Please follow the link to a Google Form that will allow you to vote for one of the five pieces that OBHS feels fit this criteria.

Thank you for participating in our survey! The item with the most votes was the Great Northern Caboose. It will represent Borderlands Historical, The Old Oroville Depot Museum, and Oroville on the America 250 Washington website display, Out of Many, One. This will be a map of the state with photographs representing the American Experience in different localities. The survey is now closed.

Our Mission

To encourage the preservation of North Okanogan Valley history, operate the North County Historical Museums and to collect and preserve artifacts and library materials which establish and illustrate the history of the North Okanogan Valley. Additionally, as the Visitor Information Center, to promote visitation to the richly historical North Okanogan and to provide positive experiences for visitors as they explore our gateway areas and beyond.
