Nick Condon has been a touring actor/improviser for nearly three decades. He is thrilled to join the cast of Boom Crash Love, his first dip back into scripted musical theatre in years. He moved to Portland in 2016 to teach and perform at Curious Comedy and Oregon Children’s Theatre. You can see him around town and across the globe in shows such as MeetCute The Improvised RomCom, the improvised mystery duo The Nancy Boys, Solitaire The Musical, his solo improvised musical or singing with his fully improvised Jazz band “Triple Martini”.

An artsy, bi disaster on and off stage herself, Caralynn Rose is honored and delighted to be joining the cast and telling the delightful tale of Boom Crash Love. And to be celebrating her 10th year in Portland. Since arriving in Bridge City, she has remained on the fringes of local theater supporting productions behind the curtains and across the boards. You can find her with alarming regularity at Lacy Productions and burlesque shows throughout Portland.

Amelia is a vocalist, actor, and director who has had the pleasure of performing on stages across the Portland -metro area. She is excited to be returning to the stage after a foray into directing last year. Highlights include Cinderella (Broadway Rose), Camelot (Lakewood), and Kelly Manning in The Mad Ones (Twilight Theatre). Amelia holds a degree in voice from the University of Portland. She currently daylights as a cost engineer at a general contractor in downtown Portland. Amelia would like to thank her friends and family for all their love and support.

Jeremy Southard holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Acting from the University of California at Davis and completed his undergraduate studies in theatre at the University of Oregon. Over the years he has appeared in productions at Lakewood Theatre Company, Fuse Theatre Ensemble, Clackamas Repertory Theatre, triangle productions!, Bridgetown Musical Theatre, and Stumptown Stages. Jeremy sends all his love to his wife and best friend Adrienne and to his amazing children, Declan and Pippa. Without their love, inspiration, and support, this would not be possible.

Richie Stone (he/they) received a BFA in Acting from Cornish College of the Arts. He spent several years performing in regional theatres around Seattle and since has performed on stages from coast to coast. Locally, Richie has performed with Broadway Rose Theatre, Triangle Productions, Lakewood Theater Company, and has been a core founding member of Motive Theatrics. His passions span a wide range of performing arts, including: burlesque, circus, stage combat, improv, and spoken word. Richie strives to create with curiosity, vulnerability and innovation.

Amanda Rose Taddeo is a lyric soprano originally from Philadelphia with a BM from Temple University in Vocal Performance and Opera. Her operatic career roles have included Mimi from La Boheme, Vitellia from clemenza di Tito, Nedda from i Pagliacci, Serafina from Il Campanello di Notte, Zerlina from Don Giovanni and Susanna from Le Nozze di Figaro. She has been a soloist in multiple productions of The Messiah as well as a guest soloist for the Portland Symphonic Choir, Philadelphia Orchestra and Ocean City Pops Orchestra. She has worked with local opera companies including Opera Bend, New Wave Opera, Cascadia Opera and Ping & Wolf Opera. Amanda frequently sings with the Portland chapter of Opera on Tap and has appeared in Portland Opera’s A La Cart community program this past summer. Amanda has performed in solo recitals at the First Congregational United Church of Christ and at The Old Church for the Lunchtime series and continues to prepare for upcoming solo recitals.
Playwright
Timothy Krause (he/him) received the 2024 New Play Award from the Portland Civic Theatre Guild for his period drama Bread and Roses, which was presented in the 2024 Fertile Ground Festival by Linestorm Playwrights. In that Festival, he also co-produced with PDX Playwrights a vaudeville jukebox musical Pack Up Your Sins. Recent work onstage includes adaptations of classic Wodehouse's and Pirandello short stories, a TED Talk by a painter of invisible paintings, and a real crime thriller about a man once called “the most hardened, vicious criminal in the state of Alaska.” Tim teaches English for Speakers of Other Languages at Portland Community College and Applied Linguistics for Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. He holds a B.A. in Theatre from Southwest Minnesota State University as well as a B.A. in Spanish and an MA-TESOL from Portland State University. https://tinyurl.com/timkra
Director
Paul Roder has been heavily involved in the theatre community here for over 10 years as an actor, director, producer and set builder. He served as Producing Artistic Director for HART Theatre from 2012-2018, where he helmed the productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, Is He Dead?, It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, and Crazy Old Man, an original musical about Noah and the Ark. In 2018, he joined the staff at Twilight Theater as Shop Supervisor, directing The Tempest, Steven Dietz's Private Eyes, and producing/co-producing other shows. Elsewhere, he has directed The Importance of Being Earnest for Masque Alfresco and Boeing-Boeing for Experience Theatre Project.

Mak Kastelic (he/him/they) has made a home in the Portland theater scene primarily as a musical director, but also as a vocal coach, performer, and collaborator for over a decade. Choreographer
Jeff George trained with Ballet Arts of Minnesota & B-way Dance Ctr in NYC. He performed on the East Coast Tour of Sesame St Live & with the Royal Caribbean & Norwegian Cruise Line ships. Jeff has performed with many PDX companies, such as Bodyvox, Polaris, Broadway Rose, Artist Repertory Theatre, Pixiedust & Do Jump, where he got to join the company on B-way. Jeff has choreographed many production shows including Othello w/ PAC, Urinetown w/ Stumptown Stages which earned a PAMTA nomination for outstanding choreography, Made To Dance In Burning Buildings w/ Shaking the Tree Theater, which earned a Drammy award for outstanding choreography, You My Love w/ Shaking the Tree Theater, & All Together Now, a Netflix film, and most recently Full Monty, Young Frankenstein, Kinky Boots, Hairspray, Rock of Ages and Cabaret, which earned a Broadway World Award for Best Choreography with Stumptown Stages.
Costume Design
Ahmad is a Queer/Latino Costume Designer for TV, Film, and Theater, from Nayarit, MX, operating out of the NW. Best known for costumes in award winning shows like Portlandia, Baskets, Shrill, and most recently Criminal, as well as films like Green Room, The Grove, and Unholy Trinity. He has costumed for theaters including Portland Center Stage, Profile, Artist’s Repertory Theatre, and Corrib for various features like Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Mother Russia, and Witch, among others. “I love telling stories through my design work, and exploring how to relay those stories in topical ways that inspire, engage, and evoke conversation.”
Lighting, Sound & Projections
EZ Jones has over a decade of experience in Portland and New York theater as a lighting designer, technical director, sound designer, and rigging designer. Her work spans plays, musicals, burlesque, and variety shows, with a focus on collaborative projects where technical design shapes the atmosphere and emotion of live performance. Most recently she was the lighting designer for Theatre Berk's premiere of Anno Machina at Chapel Theatre, and technical production designer for Can Can's 'Twas the Night before Nutcracker and Ooh-La-La at the Paris Theatre.
Production Stage Manager
Olivia Johnston (she/they) is delighted to be returning to the Northwest theater community as a stage manager for the Fertile Ground Festival. They recently completed an extensive internship with the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre, and have previously staged managed productions at the Ten Fifteen Theater (Astoria, OR), and the Peninsula Association of Performing Artists (Chinook, WA). Productions of note include Radium Girls, Big Fish, The Sound of Music, and An Interview.
