stand alones

I really struggled on how to rate this book. I felt like it isn't fair of me to put a rating on someone's grief or how the grieve. There were times when I was like, "Girl what are you doing?" When I had no room to judge how she was grieving. I think this book was very good & it makes me want to read more TJR books.

This book tore my heart out, stomped on it, ran it over, & threw it into a river. Childhood friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes but this book took it to a whole new level & I will never be the same after this book. I hate this book but I love it so much at the same time.

I'm not usually a thriller/mystery reader but I needed something to break up the fantasy & romance that I have been reading recently. I have never read a thriller/mystery that was this good. There is something about the way that Alice Feeney writes that is so captivating.
