This month was not a heavy reading month for me but I read a lot. These books were all fairly big so I think that reading four big books in a month is pretty good for me. At this point, I've come to the conclusion that this series is going to consume my life.

I really struggled this month to finish the ACOTAR series. I didn't want it to end so I pushed it off for most of the month. I also got a new kindle on the 12th so it encouraged me to read on it. I read most of the Off-Campus series until I was ready to have an actual book in my hands. I struggled with wanting a physical book & deciding if I wanted to start another series or not. But, since I have read two series so far this year I knew that I did not want to start another series. I need a break from books that take place in the same place back to back.

DNF
Even though the books were good, I think this month was a rough reading month for me. I have been in my Sarah J Maas hangover & every book that I have read I just haven't felt that connection with the characters like I did in ACOTAR. I DNF'd my first book this year which is interesting to say the least. I felt no connection at all between the characters & just found it not to be worth it to put myself through the pain of finishing it. I did start Throne of Glass at the end of this month so there should be some good content coming up soon!

I think this month was a good reading month for me. I stuck to my average of 4 books a month but I think it is still pretty good considering all of the books that I read were really good reads. I am loving the Throne of Glass series so far & I cannot wait to hopefully finish this within the month of May!

I started the tandem read this month & I can honestly say that it has been kicking my butt. I learned that I need to be reading some small romance books while I read bigger fantasy books. It breaks the books up for me & makes me want to get back to the fantasy.

What a good reading month! I really loved all of the books that I read this month. Let's also talk about how I finished the Throne of Glass series this month. I am utterly broken after finishing this series. I loved everything about it & cannot wait to go back & reread it & annotate it.
