Return and Earn Scheme

The BHS P&C will receive a 10-cent refund when you use the attached barcode to return an eligible drink container to a Return and Earn Reverse Vending Machine.

HOW CAN I HELP?

Save the barcode photo to your phone and use that image to scan at the Reverse Vending Machine.

The steps are very simple, once you are at the machine: scan this bar code; return your empties; press PayPal to 'return your earn' to BHS P&C ready to use for many exciting projects that will benefit the whole school community.

Share your saved image with family and friends so they can support the BHS P&C too.

There will also be some wallet size laminated barcode cards available. Contact us and we’ll advise collection locations or find a way to get one to you.

TOMRA automated reverse vending machines are popping up in more and more places. Those closest to Bomaderry High include Bomaderry Bowling Club (rear carpark), Woolworths Nowra and near Stockland Nowra. Your BHS P&C barcode should work at any machine in NSW.

WHAT CAN I RETURN?

Many 150 mL to 3 litre beverage containers purchased in NSW may be eligible for a refund if they are made from:

- Glass

- Plastic

- Aluminium

- Steel

- Liquid paperboard (cartons)

Containers should be empty, uncrushed, unbroken and have the original label attached.

WHAT IS NOT ELIGIBLE?

Wine, spirits, cordial and plain milk containers are generally not eligible.
