Craft Group
During term two the sport Craft Group developed their knitting skills. Many of the students had not knitted before, and the goal was to complete items for charity. We chose the Guardian Pharmacy “Knitting for Good 2019“ campaign where donated items are distributed to St Vincent de Paul for the needy in the community.
The students donated their trial pieces and Mrs Booth assembled them into a blanket. These items were all taken to the Guardian Pharmacy in Kiama Downs and presented on behalf of Bomaderry High School to the pharmacist on Friday 26 July.
Congratulations to all the students who participated in this worthwhile cause.

There were also other knitted items donated to the cause of a jumper and scarves.
Some students used the French knitting technique and these pieces were included in the rug above and also into another blanket which used donated squares.
