Emily Adamson (she/her) is Managing Director of the Boltdog Boosters and mom to Hazel, fifth grade, and Calvin, fourth grade. Emily is drawn to the Lab School because of the student led learning and she loves that her inquisitive children are always heard. Emily is also a substitute teacher at the school and loves getting to know all of your kiddos!
Maike Pulliam (she/her), is the Community Director of the Boltdog Boosters and mother of 3rd grader Zander, and 4 year old Zeke. She and her husband Ronald, love being in the Butler Lab School Community/neighborhood. Owner/photographer of M.Rinaye Photography, and an Indiana transplant via New Mexico, Missouri and Arkansas, she loves Indy, and being a part of Midtown and Butler Lab #55.
Colleen Sakon (she/her) is the Financial Director for the booster club and mom of 3rd grader Francis, 1st grader Josephine, and preschooler Freddie. She loves the community at 55 and is excited to have ALL of her kids in the school this year. Colleen enjoys reading and running and is thankful that audiobooks allow her to do both at once!
Bee Kartes (she/her) is the Records Director of the Boltdog Boosters PTO and is mom to Odin, fourth grade. The Kartes Family (which includes Bee, her husband Nick, and Odin) has been a part of the Eliza Blaker Butler Lab School 55 community since Odin’s first grade year. They were drawn to 55 because of the school’s commitment to centering the child as a person with a variety of talents, interests, and needs. The Reggio-inspired approach to learning has allowed Odin to grow and learn with great confidence and excitement. Bee is passionate about nature, reading, writing, and learning more about the world around her every day.
Allana Jackson- Wade (she/her) is an At Large Officer of the Boltdog Boosters and is mom to Jamaal “JJ” third grade, and future Boltdog McKenna. Allana and her husband Jamaal Sr. have been a part of the 55 community since JJ was in Kindergarten. She loves Butler Lab School 55 because the school community feels like a family and offers a Reggio-inspired learning curriculum.
Mike Clust (he/him) is an At Large Officer and Environment Committee Co-Chair and is father to Owen (4th grade) and Lillian (2nd grade). Mike believes that fostering a love of learning is paramount for early-childhood and elementary education, and that the Reggio model provides a solid framework for well-rounded students and individuals. Mike is a small business owner and his firm, Veracity, provides real estate and land related services to a range of clients. When he's not hanging with his kids and wife Emma, Mike enjoys playing tennis, hiking, reading, riding his bike, and doing crossword puzzles.
Committee Chairs
Anna Stayer (sher/her) is the Events Committee Co-Chair and with lots of help, she organizes events such as our annual fall Block party and the Night of 100 Bids Silent Auction event. She is the mom of 3 boys- Grant (4th grade), Dean (1st grade) and Sam (3yo- future Boltdog). She also serves on the board of her cooperative preschool, Maple Seeds Preschool. She loves being a part of the Boosters because it keeps her involved in the school and allows her to meet some great people at the school!
Laura Grannan (sher/her) is the Events Committee Co-Chair and proud mom of Ryan (3rd grade) and James (Kindergarten). Her family joined the school community last year, and she loves being involved, connecting with students, and helping ensure they have the tools they need to thrive. Laura is passionate about celebrating teachers, showing gratitude for all they do, and being part of a great, welcoming community and parent group.
Emily Falls (she/her) is the Faculty Support Committee Co-Chair of the Boltdog Boosters and proud mama to Caden (5th) and Evie (4th). She and her husband, Michael, appreciate deeply the Reggio philosophy that all children are capable, resilient, and full of wonder. When not working as a Nurse Home Visitor with Nurse Family Partnership, you might find Emily in the halls of 55, volunteering her time. As a daughter of a former educator/administrator, she is incredibly passionate about faculty support and honored to serve in this role once again this year!
Cassie Kelley (she/her) is the Faculty Support Committee Co-Chair and mom to Boltdog alumni, Elmer (7th grader at BRMS) and current Boltdogs Wilbur (2nd grade) and Esther (kindergarten). She lives near school with her husband, Brad, 3 kids and dog, Lucy. The Kelley family has been a part of Butler Lab 55 since it first became a lab school in 2018 when Elmer started Kindergarten.
LeAnn Toliver (she/her) is the Environment Committee Co-Chair, loves being outdoors and works part time as an office manager and a nurse practitioner. She has four kids, Vera (Sidener, 3rd), Rose(1st), George(K), and Macy(future Boltdog). LeAnn loves 55 and the Reggio inspired program fostering curiosity and learning through play and project-based work; and loves the community at 55 even more than that!
