The Film Forum SIG focuses on World Cinema, exploring films made outside the United States. Each month new and returning BOLLI members will watch a movie at home and then gather at BOLLI for a discussion. We’ll begin with a short introduction to help ground the film before opening the conversation to the group. We hope to engage in lively comments and thoughtful debate, exploring different aspects of each film, such as visual and aesthetic choices, cultural and social content, or authorship and production. Please join us to share your perspective! RSVP not required.
Meetings of the Film Forum SIG will be held in person at BOLLI, 60 Turner St, Waltham on the following dates.
Wednesday, March 11, 1:00-2:30 PM
Cinema Paradiso - Director's Cut (1988)
