I have invited everyone I know! BNI Podcast 769 / 633
We all have an obligation to invite visitors on a regular basis. It is important tounderstand why: When a chapter doubles in number, the amount of business passed TREBLES.
Why?
Because it is easier to find an opportunity for someone amongst 38 people than amongst 19.
A visitor who converts to a member is, on average, worth more than $200,000 on the table for the chapter over 12 months in our area.
Every visitor is a potential customer for all the members in the chapter.
Visitors who do not join but enjoy the meeting, are good for P.R.
Visitors may bring partners or friends with them – i.e. more potential customers.
New members have new contact spheres.
Meetings with visitors present have more energy, are more fun, and result inmore business being passed to the members than meetings with no visitors present.
BNI Directors send visitors to all chapters as often as possible.
BNI keeps a record of all visitors, and continues to keep in touch with them. Some join later.
BNI undertakes regular P.R. for the benefit of all chapters.
The success of every chapter is dependent on all members regularly bringing visitors – make sure that you play your part in generating successfor everybody.
Chapter membership committees have the discretion not to renew the membership of members who have not brought an average of at least one visitor every month.
BNI Chapters are not clubs! They are business associations to which admission is a privilege.
