If your co host is recommending only using airbnb then they are providing incorrect advice. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. There are many websites for example in Asia it is recommended to list Airbnb, VRBo, Tripadvisor, Ctrip, Agoda Homes, Booking.com are highly recommended.
