Dr. Je’s research interests include bioactive substances including peptides, carbohydrates, and polyphenols and functional properties of marine natural bioresources. There is a particular interest in healthcare using bioactive peptides, polysaccharides, and polyphenols to uncover molecular mechanisms in vitro and in vivo. Those materials can be used in the development of nutraceuticals and biomedical materials.
