- It is recommended to read and print the instructions before attempting to apply for any positions.
- Candidates filling incomplete or incorrect information are liable to be rejected and/or legal proceedings may be initiated against them.
- Each candidate must fill ONLY ONE form for a particular subject and position.
- Choose a single Email address for your application. If you do not have an email ID, create one. Please verify your email ID carefully before submitting your form as you will get your offline form on your submitted email ID.
Step 3: Print your form(s)
- After you submit a form, you will receive your responses in an automatic email on the ID submitted by you.
- Print two copies of this email on A4-size printing paper (preferably printed on both sides of the papers if longer than one page).
- Write your name, UID on the back of a passport size photo, paste it with glue on the front page of one form (don't pin, staple or tape), sign across it using a CD/DVD/OHP marker running onto the page leaving your face clear of any ink marks.
- Sign (with date) on the bottom right of all pages of your form using blue ball-point pen.
- Sign the declaration at the end of the email, and write your name in Hindi and English with date.
- In case of discrepancy between the contents of the online application and the printed form, the online application will take precedence.
- Also print the Points Calculation document and Points Verification form (Annexure 1 and 2), print the two pages on two sides of a single sheet of paper. Fill it clearly and bring this on the interview date for the respective department(s) applied.
- Also print the Checklist for the documents to be submitted in the interview
Step 4: Appear in the interview
Only those who will have submitted the online application will be able to appear in the interviews. Refer to advertisement for interview dates. Be sure to bring the following in original and one set of self-attested xerox copies duly arranged in 2 sets as mentioned in checklist:
- Checklist
- Your Application forms for the particular subject applied (2 copies with photograph and signatures).
- Aadhar Card/Acknowledgement slip (if applied for Aadhar Card)
- Marks Calculation document/Points Verification form (annexures 1 and 2, printed on both sides of the same sheet of paper)
- Certificate(s) for the claim of reservation, including recent certificate of OBC Non-creamy Layer
- Matriculation/10th class Certificate in support of Date of Birth
- All UG/PG marksheets
- Internship completion certificate
- All attempt certificates
- MBBS/BDS degree certificate and PG degree certificate
- Medical Council Registration certificate (stating PG degrees)
- Work experience certificate (Government institutions only)
- No-objection certificate from present employer (Government institutions only)
- Certificate stating expected result of postgraduate exams/other eligibility criteria*
- Affidavit stating that you have not completed 3 years Tutor/SR tenure post (for candidates applying to Tutor/SR positions and >3 years have elapsed since they passed PG exam in the subject applied)
- Certificate of any previous Tutor/SR tenure post
- And all other relevant certificates
*Candidates who have not completed prerequisite qualification/eligibility criterion but are likely to complete, may be considered after they submit a Certificate from the present institution stating the situation. Such candidates may be provisionally considered & only be included in the waiting panel separately.
- completion of Postgraduation (declaration of PG exam results)
- completion of Tutorship/Senior residency tenure
- requisite eligibility as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor
Step 5: View the provisional panel
Provisional panel is released in PDF format on the website www.health.bih.nic.in after processing of all the forms and interview marks.
Step 6: Enter objections and request corrections
This gives you an opportunity to verify your particulars included for preparation of provisional panel. This must be based on facts validated through documentation. Candidates who had not completed prerequisite qualification/eligibility criterion at the time of interview are required to submit proof of such completion, at this stage.
Requests are to be submitted in the online form available for this purpose (Click here). Your responses to this form will also be automatically sent as an email to you. Annex a signed print-out of this email and supporting documents with a written application addressed to the Health Dept, GoB.
Step 7: View the final panel (rank order)
